Brinjal, or known as eggplant has more amount of vitamin B if compared to other vegetables. There are dark purple coloured brinjals and light coloured one. The darker one have a good vitamin C compared to the light one. All of the brinjals are rich in minerals, for example magnesium and potassium which are good for strength and muscle tone.
Medicine :
- For toothache, brinjal juice can be a very effective remedy.
- The brinjal leaves and fruits can be taken to reduce the blood cholesterol level.
- Brinjal leaves form a base for many medicine as it has narcotic properties.
- For asthmatic people, the root of this plant can be used as it is known to be anti-asthmatic.
